As we read the play, Hamlet, we're also watching different parts of the play in 3 different verison of the movie. My favorite is the most modern version, the Almereyda version. It still relates to the younger generation while still in the language that William Shakespeare wrote the play in. While a little explanation of the language and terms that is used throughout the play, we all can relate to some part of the play (ex. heartbreak, betrayal, etc.). Also, this takes place in the 21st century - something we ALL can relate to. Overall, the Almereyda version is relateable and and more modern for all of us to enjoy (:
